How it works
Posting Gear
Posting equipment is simple, and once you have an account created you can post as many items as you want. Heres how you do it;
- Firstly go to the register page and enter a username that you would like to use and your email address
- Check your email account and you’ll find an email with your account password and login
- Once logged in, click on the ‘Write’ tab and select the type of item you’re posting (surfboard, bodyboard, kiteboard, kite etc.)
- Fill out the details of your item; description, price, tags, and upload images (some sample images are provided), see this sample post for an example. Hit ‘Save’ if you want to only save a draft and hit ‘Publish’ if you want to publish your item to the site.
- And thats it. Your item is posted.
- If you are a regular seller, shaper of store owner to help sell your gear complete your profile, add information and upload a profile picture/logo
Because the folks behind Surf Seconds are in a good mood it’s absolutely 100% free to post items and always will be, be you a private person selling or a commercial outfit. Monies and such dealings are completely between buyers and sellers themselves, no matter what county or country. Surf Seconds only aims to get the people in need in touch with the people who’ve got the goods.

Also when you post your item, Surf Seconds automatically notifies site update services to expose your item across the web. Some include: blogsearch.google.com, feedster.com, pingomatic.com and technorati.com.
